UPSC has issued the calendar for different examinations, including the NDA 2 Notification 2022, as you are all aware. On the 18th of May 2022, the official announcement for NDA 2 2022 was posted on its official website for the course beginning on the 2nd of July 2022. Along with the news, 400 job openings were published, including some for women. The NDA Exam is held twice a year by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to select applicants for admission to the elite National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the NDA 2 Notification 2022 on upsc.gov.in. Through upsconline.nic.in, unmarried male and female applicants can now apply for the UPSC NDA 2 Exam 2022.

For the 150th Course, as well as the 112th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), which begins on July 2, 2023, the commission has 400 places available for admission to the NDA’s Army, Navy, and Air Force wings.

Those who successfully register for UPSC NDA 2022 will be asked to appear on September 4, 2022, across the country (Sunday).

This exam is open to both female and male applicants in the 12th grade. As a result, they should submit their application by June 14, 2022, after the application link is activated. The commission will hold an interview round after the written exam is completed, which will be handled by the SSB.

NDA 2 Notification 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates for the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy must have completed grade 12 or an equivalent test administered by a State Education Board or a University.
  • A 12th-grade diploma in Physics and Mathematics from a State Education Board or a University is necessary for the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.
  • Candidates in the 12th grade who are following the 10+2 school education pattern or an equivalent test can also apply for this exam.

Age Limit:

  • (Only unmarried male/female candidates born between January 2, 2004, and January 1, 2007, are eligible.)


  • Must be an unmarried male or female who is:
  • You must be an Indian citizen or a permanent resident of India.
  • A Bhutanese subject, a Nepalese subject, or both
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the goal of settling permanently in India, or Tibetan refugees who landed in India after that date.
  • A person of Indian heritage who has moved to India permanently from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam. However, the candidate must fall into one of the aforementioned categories and be a person in whose favour the Government of India has issued an eligibility certificate. Candidates who are Nepalese Gorkha subjects, on the other hand, will not require an eligibility certificate.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must meet the physical requirements of the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy. They should be able to fulfil the following criteria:

(a) Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes

(b) Skipping

(c) Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each

(d) Chin-ups: Minimum 08

(e) Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters

Candidates who want to apply and are eligible for the UPSC NDA 2022 must follow the steps described below.

  2. Fill in your information on the registration form.
  3. Before submitting the part one and part two forms, candidates must double-check their information.
  4. Candidates must click the final submit button after validating the information submitted into the application form, which will send them to the payment window.

NDA 2 Notification 2022 Selection Procedure

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the UPSC NDA 2 test to provide possibilities to young individuals in the country who wish to work in the defence sector. The NDA 2 Exam 2022 will be used in two stages to select applicants for defence jobs:

  1. Written examination
  2. Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB)

After passing the written exam, a candidate will be requested to complete a personality test to determine their IQ and personality. Candidates must pass both stages to be considered for the merit list. Based on the cumulative score of the Written Exam, UPSC will compile a merit list/final result, and the SSB will be considered for ultimate selection.

The UPSC test format must be familiar to candidates studying for the NDA II Exam 2022. The exam pattern for the NDA 2 2022 exam is as follows:

  • The exam will be given in an offline format.
  • The questions will be in the form of multiple-choice answers.
  • The questions will be asked in both English and Spanish (English & Hindi)
  • There will be a 0.83-point deduction for Math, 1.33-point deduction for English, and 1.33-point deduction for GK.

UPSC NDA 2 2022 application form withdrawal will be possible from June 14 to June 20, 2022. (6 PM). Requests for OTP creation for UPSC NDA 2 application form 2022 withdrawal will be accepted until 5.30 p.m. on June 20, 2022. The UPSC NDA 2 exam for 2022 is scheduled for September 4th.
