Lady Gaga announced three more dates for her The Chromatica Ball world tour on Monday, including a stop at Minute Maid Park in Houston on Sept. 13. Ticketmaster will sell the show’s tickets on Friday.
Gaga will appear on a Tuesday while the Astros are in Detroit for a three-game series before returning home to face the Athletics on September 15th.
The 20-city tour, which kicks off in July in Germany and ends in August in the United States, will pack baseball venues across the country, including Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. On Aug. 23, the show will also be in Arlington at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
Gaga released her album “Chromatica” in May 2020 and planned to tour with it that summer, but the COVID-19 epidemic forced her to postpone her gigs twice.
Big concerts are nothing new at the ballpark. Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Ed Sheeran have all performed there. Minute Maid Park will host concerts by Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, and others in September alone.
